Stone Scupture Bowl – Adirondack Scuplty Anorthosite
This sculpty anorthosite as a glacial scrub that was deposited from hundred of miles away during what is believed to be the last Ice Age. Found in the Adirondack region’s Schroon Lake, NY, this stone sculpture bowl was induced by removing fracture lines entering multilaterally and then shaped through all 360 degrees and finally polished using 13,000 grit sandpaper.
You can also can turn this stone bowl in to a vessel sink.
The free form shape of this bowl is a direct result of removal of compromised structure.
